Hello! Just wanted to give an idea of a forum game on Nobstudio.
The Island of Avarona. A large island, home to many great warriors across the land. You are one of the people living inside, a new warrior. One day, the island was attacked by a large army of soldiers, laying waste to the island. Most of the inhabitants evacuated, and you are one of them. What will you do next?
Your Commanding Officer and Trainer has contacted you through Psychic Mind Telecommunication. They have asked you to do several tasks among the island in a combined task to help rebuild the island. Each one of you have separate tasks to do along the island, which must be done quickly. But be aware, the invading soldiers might still be here.
Missions
1. Koil Ardor, you must search the compound for any other survivors on the island. Report to Commanding Officer after completing the task.
2. N/A
3. Weyth Rez'nac, you will go further into the Mainland and continue to search for towns that can offer food and shelter for the survivors.
4. Woth Natural, you will invade the MarBandit Hideout with the aid of two companions. Report to Trainer after completing the task.
5. Kyra Pyreleaf, you will aid Woth in various tasks and missions. Report to Commanding Officer when finished with the task.
6. Andy Thomps, you will aid Woth in various tasks and missions. Report to Commanding Officer when finished with the task.

GameplayYou have to do your objectives listed on/off the island. The island is a large island, with several buildings. Try to imagine the place as a giant training hall for warriors as well as several offices and barracks. You all start in the Barracks. It is fine for you to make NPCs, but you cannot make important ones. You can also communicate with each other using PMT, but you have to mention when you're using it. The game will get more understandable later on, so just try to complete your missions.
There are no real skill checks. However, if you have a Strength of 8, you can't just lift a giant rock. Throughout the missions, I will award you with some more skill points to spend. When spending your skill points, do not relist the entire profile. Simply state the skills you want to increase and I will apply that to your profile.
Make what your character does understandable. Try to keep it as first-person, so that no one would be confused. When you are talking, put quotation marks. When an NPC is talking, use the format of:
Name: what he/she says
When you are asking something about the game or something to put in it, put it in these brackets. [ ]

Here's an example of gameplay.Maps Modnar
Time for me to complete my mission. I grabbed my set of knives and pulled open the ventilation in the room. I crawled in the ventilation and exited through one room that was still intact. I made my way across the broken buildings until I found a sign that said "Southeast gate". As soon as I noticed this, I jumped onto the top of the wall to inspect the remaining soldiers. There weren't that many, just 5 unsuspecting troops. I prepared a knife and I quickly threw it at one soldier's head. I then dashed behind the wall.
Soldier1: What was that?
Soldier2: I don't know.
Soldier3: I think someone found us out.
Soldier4: We should look around. I think there are survivors around here that were not killed in the process.
I grabbed an straight pipe from the side and shoved as many knives I could into it. Throwing it up into the air, the pipe swiftly spread the knives over the soldiers' heads. When I looked back at the gate, all 5 soldiers were dead. Swift, silent execution. But there were more.
(through PMT) "Koil, can you hear me? I need to ask you if the Beta Training Hall is intact."

Weyth Raz'nacI've just woke up from a start it seems like it was only yesterday that my family left leaving me and some of the men to liberate our homeland.
I groaned as I was getting out of bed, Quickly getting dressed today was the first step of reclaiming our home.
Koli gave me my mission: I was to go into the inner territories of the island to ask for food and shelter from the surviving villages.
I moved quickly and silently throughout the morning. I did not encounter any enemy troops which I thought was strange.
As I arrived to one of the nearer village I realized why. Inside the village were the butchered bodies.
Weyth:"Dear Gods"
Weyth:"Koli I ... arrived at one of the villages .. but it's been utterly destroyed. Please advise"

Woth NaturalIt was morning, so now was the time to do a bit of clearing. I got out my broom and started sweeping my own room, when suddenly, a rat popped out of a hole. It looked hungry and was quickly dying out. I gave it a bit of my food supplies and it left the room. Certainly, my bond with nature was paying off. Soon, I arrived at Weyth's room.
Woth:"Oh, he left his belts lying on the ground! His entire bedroom is filthy!"

Maps ModnarI quickly tucked in my knives and scouted the other parts of the southeast gate. I was about to mark this area as cleared until I saw something. It was a box. A metal box, to be precise. I got the straight pipe and poked it a little. Then it made a quiet beeping noise. I cautiously walked up to it, and I read a small printing on the box.
"Minecorps Authentic Explosives," it read.
I thought that name was for a mining and explosive company.
(through PMT) Officer, I think we have a problem here.
(through PMT) Commanding Officer: What kind of problem?
(through PMT) There's a bomb at the southeast gate.
(through PMT) Commanding Officer: Well then, report back to Trainer Nagi

Sirasa, you can't control when you learn a new ability. Right now, it's fine for you to control the Commanding Officer. In later missions, he will be marked as a non-controlled NPC. It's fine if you practice your abilities, though.Maps Modnar
I quickly stashed my blades and ran across the narrow pathway towards the Alpha Training Hall. Trainer Nagi sat on some rubble the soldiers had caused during the attack, sharpening some blades on the rock.
Me: Sir, the Commanding Officer has told me to speak to you.
Nagi: Well, the old man certainly has a knack to speak confidently. Where is the bomb?
Me: The bomb is at the southeast gate, sir.
Nagi: Well, I would like to test your skills. You always were the perfectionist student. Get the bomb out of the southeast gate. Do this, and I promise your group will have worthy missions next time.
Me: Yes, sir.
I ran out of the training hall, back to the southeast gate, to get to the bomb. I first checked how heavy it was. It was quite light, for a bomb. It was tiny, but it still had enough juice to blow half the island away (and the island's pretty big). I used a knife to carve an opening in the metal, to reveal the insides. There was a timer wired to a cylindrical container. I picked up the bomb, cut the wires and threw it up into the sky. A few seconds later, it exploded. Luckily, the shrapnel of the bomb landed in the ocean instead of the island.

Commanding Officer(through PMT to Weyth) Your orders are to search more inland for other cities or villages intact.
(through PMT to Woth) Make sure NOT to search barracks number 817-819.
(through PMT to Koil) There is a large group of bandits headed your way. Cancel your current task and lead the farmers through Path B.

Having received my orders I continued deeper into the the island merely seeing devastated villages along the way. Odd though that after the first village there weren't any dead bodies in the other villages I've came across. There I saw why. In a massive fortress stood the populace in the abandoned villages facing a siege from the invader. In order for me to get to the walls to plead for food and shelter i will need to wait till night.

I had received the PMT from Koil, but I was too busy cleaning out the basement. Suddenly, I spotted a dark shape leaving the room. I caught it just in time and realized it was wearing red rags with a grass pattern.Stranger: Oh, no! They've cau...Oh, you're not one of them.
Me: "Not one of what?"
Stranger: One of the soldiers controlling this island, of course! Listen, I don't have time to explain, but if you find the Book of Hermits for me, you bring it to me at path B and I'll explain!

Commanding Officer(through PMT)
to Weyth: I have found your location. Steer clear of that fort, and find another!
to Koil: Hold on for a while, we're going to get assistance.
to Maps: Attention Maps! Koil has been caught by a large group of bandits on the Beta Trail. Your orders are to conduct a rescue mission.
Trainer Nagi
(through PMT)
to Woth: Let me guess. You're trying to get the Book of Hermits. Well it's currently in the MarBandit Hideout. If you want to do suicide, then go get that book. Or you could try a different plan.

Maps ModnarSigh, well doesn't Koil always get himself in trouble. I raced back to the base and took the Beta Path, keeping my knives ready for any ambush. As I approached the bandits, I saw Koil. I ducked behind a large rock and prepared 5 knives in each hand. Then I jumped out of my hiding spot and threw the knives at the bandits' legs, making them crippled to the floor. I then threw a knife at Koil to cut the rope that bound him. He and I managed to take care of the remaining bandits.
(through PMT) Commander, I have finished the job.

I sat on a chair and drew some blueprints.Me: "Now, the MarBandit Hideout is in the same fortress which Weyth was in. However, the castle has a blind spot in both the spot exactly 25 minutes and 53 seconds away from the north-of-north-East and the spot exactly 2 minutes and 5 seconds away from the north-West. However, the first blind spot is only present at sunrise when the Sun is tilted at 32 degrees. Also, the second blind spot is only present when a full Moon shines at the centre of the fort."
(through PMT) "Koil, I need you and your troops!"
