Introduction

You get your wish granted, Grm. I'll start them up.

Backstory

There is a myth, a myth that tells of an army strong enough to conquer all the lands of Nobstudio. It was called the Army of Nob, and it has been told that the army has not been vanquished, by opponents such as fierce generals and even age itself.

The problem is, the reason why the army hasn't died out yet is because it has never existed before!

That is why you, the sole leader of a Nobstudion territory, armed with a small but promising army, strive to create the Army of Nob, and become the ruler of Nobstudio.

Gameplay

Along with the traditional RP elements, this FG retains strategy.

You control a territory along with a small army with the goal to create the strongest army and take over Nobstudio.

Along with the general happenings of a leader, not only will you be able to control yourself, but your army. There are seven mountain peaks, two mountain ranges, three river streams, two lakes, two deserts, and three valleys. Each of these areas may provide advantages and disadvantages. For example, a lake will provide a HUGE amount of waterif you set up camp there, but if you wanted to move to the other side, you would have to go around it, or have a boat. With your army, you can move, station, battle, and search in any way you can, to create a flexible commanding experience.

A battle is decided by:

Soldier Strength
Strength measures how much damage each soldier will deal or absorb.

Soldier Constitution
Constitution measures how much damage each soldier can take.

Soldier Speed
Speed measures how quickly orders can be followed by each soldier.

Soldier Training
Training adds a general boost to battle skill and a boost to discipline.

Army Size
Size multiplies every stat by how many soldiers you have.

Other Attributes
Leadership and other attributes, such as innovation and environmental advantage, also get a hearing in the battle.

-----------

The map updates with every "Army Roster". Dots of your color represent deployed troops.

Game Start.

Derpy Thy Prophet

As I watch from the highest spying tower in Anorava, I think about my plans after the snowstorm finishes. I need to find a suitable source of vegetation to sustain a larger army. Perhaps a raid would help me start my conquest. I sat there thinking about plans, watching snowflakes rapidly come and go.

Maso, your default station for your army is currently at Osrimakosam (red box), which is WAAY too far from Alminster (yellow box). Yes, I know, there's a river, but so far none of the empires have boats yet.

Derpy Thy Prophet

When the snowstorm ceased, I used a telecope to spy a large lake, close to the mountain.

Me: "This is a suitable water body... Though I doubt there won't be any opposing civilization who wants it."

I needed something like hills. Something that my disciplined soldiers would know how to use. I studied the map of Nobstudio as fifty of my troops, as ordered, prepared for a trip.

*looks at a list* Champ? Sirasa? Grm?

Derpy Thy Prophet

Water wasn't a problem, but we needed food and shelter to construct and maintain a larger army. I walked into my commanding chamber and sent 50 of my troops east.

[I notice there are five capitals but seven boxes?]

People's Champion

Me: "General, are our troops on high alert for spies from Osrimakosam?"

General: "Sir, if I'm honest, it might be a good idea to settle near the northern lake."

Me: "What, and risk a run-in with another army? We're lucky to even know of Osrimakosam, since we've been at war for years!"

Finally, I think of what to do.

Me: "General, order ten of our best scouts to climb up the mountain and spy on Sir Knightly Monkey Poop. Tell them to come back as soon as they catch even a glimpse of what's going on! We can't risk too many men!"

Colored boxes with white centers are capitals. White boxes with colored centers are deployed soldiers.

Derpy Thy Prophet

I decided to put four hundred of my men to to building advanced telescopes to spy on the lands beyond. The location of Anorava acted as a defense. The number of snowstorms and the mountain ranges made it tough for invading forces to reach my city,so I didn't have to worry about walling the capital.

Gatherer of Skulls

Me: Semboyat! Take some men and build an arena for some amusement.

Semboyat: Right away, general.

Me: Rachliki! You and your troops build some useful spy towers.

Rachliki: On it, sir.

Me: Borkanlov! Find us a good source of water within reasonable distance.

Borkanlov: Yes sir, general!

I sit back as my captains rush to work.

Me: Oh this conquering will be fun!
